Alyssa Drake came on board at Dr. Morand & Associates as a graduate intern in summer 2023. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Penn State University, her Master's Degree at Messiah University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, obtained her National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification and has met the requirements to become a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Pennsylvania.
Alyssa is passionate about working with the child, adolescent, teen, & young adult population. She is dedicated to making her client's therapeutic experience a positive one. Alyssa works with clients to navigate through difficulties, explore and explain developmental processes, establish/enhance behavior management, adjust both socially and emotionally, and develop coping skills. She understands the importance of working with the family of the client as well, and she welcomes a collaborative approach to give clients and their families a sense of security and support.
Alyssa understands each client is different, so she implements several different types of therapy techniques based on each unique situation. Her specialties include: anxiety, depression, coping skills, emotional-regulation, familial dysfunction, peer issues, school issues, & social/emotional difficulties.

Alyssa is in-network for Capital Blue Cross and Highmark insurance. Copays will vary; speak to your insurance directly for exact amount.
Private pay at a rate of $100 - our office can also provide a superbill for out-of-network clients and help with reimbursement.
